What numerology is

Numerology looks at the numbers in your date of birth. Each number from 1 to 9 has its own themes, and a few larger numbers carry a meaning of their own.

Like tarot, it does not decide anything for you. It gives you another way to look at your strengths, your patterns and the period you are in.

The numbers I look at

Everything starts from your date of birth. These are the numbers I work out from it before we meet.

8

Life path number

Your whole date of birth, added up and reduced to one number. It describes the main themes of your life and the way you tend to move through it.

Born 23 July 1985: 2 + 3 + 7 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 5 = 35, and 3 + 5 = 8.

23

Birthday number

The day of the month you were born. It points to a talent or a way of working that comes naturally to you.

Born on the 23rd: 23, which also reduces to 2 + 3 = 5.

4

Personal year

Your birthday and birth month added to the current year. It shows the theme of the year you are in.

Born 23 July, in 2026: 2 + 3 + 7 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 22, and 2 + 2 = 4.

13 14 16 19

Karmic numbers

13, 14, 16 and 19 are known as karmic numbers. When one appears in your numbers, it points to a lesson that keeps coming back until it is learned. It is not a bad sign, only an area that asks for attention.

11 22 33

Master numbers

11, 22 and 33 are not reduced further. They describe a stronger form of their theme, and often ask more of you.

Tarot and numerology

Every card in the Major Arcana has a number, from The Fool at 0 to The World at 21. That makes the two easy to combine.

Your numbers lead to your birth cards: the Major Arcana cards that match them. In a combined reading we look at those cards first, then I lay out a spread for your question.

Compatibility

A compatibility reading compares the numbers of two people: a partner, a friend, family or someone you work with. We look at where your numbers support each other and where they pull in different directions.

The other person does not need to be there. You give both dates of birth when you book.

Questions about numerology

What do you need from me?

Your date of birth. You give it when you book, so I can prepare your numbers before we meet. For a compatibility reading I also need the other person's date of birth.

Do I need to know my time of birth?

No. Numerology uses only the date. The time of birth matters in astrology, not here.

Can I have tarot and numerology in one reading?

Yes. The tarot and numerology reading starts with your numbers and birth cards, then moves on to a spread for your question.

Can numerology tell me what will happen?

No. It describes themes and tendencies, not fixed events. What you do with them is up to you.
